How do I play WordHunt?

Touch the screen and drag your finger to connect adjacent letters to form words. Words must be at least 3 letters long (4 letters on 5x5 boards). You have a time limit to find as many words as possible!

What are the scoring rules?

Scoring depends on your game mode settings:

• Word Length: Longer words score more points (3-4 letters = 1 point, 5+ letters = more points)
• Letter Points: Each letter has a point value based on difficulty

How do I change the language dictionary?

Go to Settings → Dictionary, then select your preferred language from the list of 20+ available dictionaries.

How does multiplayer mode work?

Create a new multiplayer game, share the QR code or invite link with friends. Everyone plays the same board and compares scores at the end!

Can I play offline?

Yes! WordHunt works completely offline after the initial download. No internet connection required to play.

How do I restore my purchase?

If you reinstalled the app or changed devices, go to Settings → Restore Purchase. Make sure you're logged in with the same Google Play account used for the original purchase.

The app crashes or freezes

Try these steps:

1. Force close and restart the app
2. Clear app cache (Settings → Apps → WordHunt → Clear Cache)
3. Ensure you have the latest version from Google Play
4. Restart your device
5. If problem persists, contact support with device details

My high scores disappeared

High scores are stored locally on your device. If you cleared app data or reinstalled, scores will be reset. Make sure to avoid clearing app data to preserve your progress.

Sound not working

Check that sound effects are enabled in Settings → Sound Effects. Also verify your device volume is turned up and not in silent mode.
